Caught up with my man in the steel city 'Checan' today.

Firstly go to his BANDCAMP site and cop for his latest release with ft DRS, it's only £1, come on!

The most interesting thing about this young 18 year old from Sheffield is his versatility and his latest free offering is evidence of another angle he's currently exploring.

The man himself describes this as "deeper and less upfront than some of my other stuff" I couldn't agree more.

I like the experimental vibes in this!

Jay Weed on Oneman's-502...

Jay Weed is someone I picked up on through listening/DJing along side Oneman.

He's from Lyon in France.

The space he uses in his tracks are quite simply magnificent!

Prism is a mixture of techy reverb ridden percussion, triumphant chords and a minimal but exciting drop.

Following Fis-T's-Night Hunter this will be the next release on Oneman's 502 Recordings

Hello all, sorry for the lack of posts. I've been away to Iceland for the weekend and I'm currently badgering away trying to get my first mix of the year recorded.

I'm returning to The Priory in Doncaster this Friday, playing my first set of the year. I'll be playing fresh bits from some of my favourite new artists...more on them to come!

I've taken influence from Rut Blees Luxembourg of The Streets and Bloc Party fame to try and produce some quite dramatic photos(opinions would be appreciated!)
