Price now living in Southampton decided to go to university to study 'Urban and Electronic Music' where he's improved his knowledge of the industry and more importantly his productions!

With past releases on the legendary DPR Recordings(home to Groove Chronicles, El-B and Steve Gurley) we find him now with his latest release on the L2S Recordings label.

The 'Slime E.P' is clear evidence of his progression as a producer.

Lead track 'Romper Stomper' goes in hard with it's 4/4 Garage vibes and that 'old school' vocal!

Sheffield promoters/producers/DJ's 'Vibes Alive' are throwing probably the biggest Freshers party in probably the best bar Sheffield has to offer 'Crystal'.

It's happening this Wednesday 22nd and we have a live P.A from Jammer and MZ Bratt

These guys have had some pretty decent bookings over the past two years bringing in acts like

Zinc, Plastician, Doorly, Joker, Martelo, Burga Boy, High Rankin etc....

He was recently showing a crowd how he goes about making beats with Logic.

Last weekend...

Just thought I'd share a memory with ya'll....

Friday saw me and 4 mates driving down the M1 to come watch me DJ with Lil Silva at Stealth-Nottingham.

It was a trial to see if they liked what I played and if so they wanted me back....

Well we got there(exhaust hanging off the car) in one piece and I played and it was DEAD!

It got to 12 and there were like 30 people in! We knew Bigger Than Barry was on in Sheffield, so we wen't back home!

I was really frustrated as the night was tagged as Garage, Funky etc... and I thought this will be perfect as there aren't too many nights in Sheffield where I can play what I want to play!

I didn't stick around to see Lil Silva but I'm sure he would have shared the same anger I did!

I still don't quite get why the night was so DEAD? Good DJ, good night club 'girls go free'(which incidentally is the name of the club night!)...

Makes me appreciate Sheffield and it's many successful nights!

Fis-T Night Hunter

Rinse FM's Oneman set up his own label '502 Recordings'

Tomorrow(6/9/2010) will be the first release on the label from FIS-T, entitled Night Hunter.

DJ Oneman has real ear for moody, dark and atmospheric music, I expect his releases will be of the same high quality of this debut.
