Grime music, can it be saved?

Right let's get down to this blogging business then.

'Grime Music' up here is Sheffield suggest's knife crime, gangs, violence and angry young men shouting into microphones!

Which to be honest is partially true, BUT Grime music is evolving from the streets into nightclubs and onto the Pop charts.

More and more quality instrumental songs are coming out from producers(mainly London based) and people need to realise quicker that 'Grime' music isn't just MC's shouting over kicks and snares!

I mean 'Grime' today, in my eyes can and should be played in a nightclub environment, take a listen to some of these that I've tried and tested in non-Grime nights.

I'm hoping that these kind of tracks will start to go down well out of London(based on my own experiences) and I will continue to push these tracks until peoples ears prick up.

If you like what you hear check out the following artists, they are the ones helping 'Grime' evolve to the next level....

First post..

Hey all and welcome to my new blog!

I decided to start this blog, as trying to attract attention to Myspace, Soundcloud, Mixcloud, Twitter etc.... is just plain hard work!

To have all my media in one manageable space is much more convenient for you and myself, so here you go.

The 'Home' tab of the blog will simply be my thoughts and opinions in writing, pictures, sounds and images, simple!

The other tabs will be focusing on my work as a Musician/Producer/Dj/and now 'blogger'....
